SAP application in Microsoft Azure is very slow

Our SAP is installed in Microsoft Azure, however the respond is very slow these few days. Please advise a solution to solve the problem as it affects our daily work.

Hi, can you provide any more details? This could be related to a number of things like compute performance, disk performance, network latency? Maybe if you could give some details about what you have deployed (sizes etc) and how you are accessing the SAP environment. Are you able to access any of the monitoring tools that Azure provides to help diagnose where the performance issues might be?

Hi AlanKinane, thank you for your reply. Can you teach me how to access the monitoring tools that Azure provides? The slow response only happens in these few days, we experience a sudden drop in speed when using the SAP which is located in Azure cloud.

There's quite a bit to this but I'd start with looking at the SAP virtual machines if the problem is only a recent one. The VMs will have host level monitoring enabled by default but it might be worth setting up VM Insights to help diagnose any issues. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/vm/monitor-virtual-machine-configure

If you have a technical support plan it might be worth raising a support ticket with Microsoft to assist with diagnosing the issue.
