I cannot seem to stop this charge of $4.99. I don't know what it is for and this is the second time this has happened. I have reached out for support for the last time this happened and it was only resolved (or so I thought) after my credit card company cancelled it. How do I discontinue these charges?????????

Since this is a community forum, we don't have access to account data or information. You can contact Microsoft support so they can help you with this charge.

On your computer, click the Start menu and type Get Help.

Type "Billing" as the keyword > Click the "Contact Support" button.

Then fill out a few more details, after which you will be transferred to speak with an agent.

To stop the unauthorized charge of $4.99, you may want to consider the following steps:

    1. Check Your Subscriptions: Review your Microsoft 365 subscriptions to see if there are any active subscriptions that you may have forgotten about or that are linked to your account.
    2. Cancel Subscriptions: If you find any subscriptions that you do not wish to continue, you can cancel them through your Microsoft account settings.
    3. Contact Support: If you are unable to identify the source of the charge or if it continues after cancellation, it may be helpful to contact Microsoft 365 Support for further assistance. You can reach them through the support links provided in the Microsoft documentation.
    4. Monitor Your Account: Keep an eye on your account statements to ensure that no further unauthorized charges occur.

If the issue persists, consider discussing it with your credit card company to prevent future charges while you resolve the matter with Microsoft.
