    Hello

If you have let the subscription expired in Sept, I am afraid you wouldn't be able to retrieve your data unless you have a subscription on that same Microsoft account. Even just pay for one month, then get your data, then cancel the subscription. Do this before 6 months from Sept to avoid data being deleted by Microsoft.

You want to cancel the one you made on the wrong account. If you just made this new subscription, contact support, explain to them and you will likely get refunded.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

When a Microsoft 365 subscription expires, it goes through several lifecycle statuses before the data is ultimately deleted. After expiration, the subscription enters an Expired status, during which you may have a grace period to reactivate the subscription or back up your data. However, if the subscription is deleted, adding a new subscription of the same type will not restore the data associated with the deleted subscription.

Since your OneDrive subscription expired in September 2025, you should check if you are still within the grace period to retrieve your data. If the subscription has been deleted, unfortunately, the data may no longer be recoverable.

To retrieve your data, you can try reactivating the expired subscription if you are still within the grace period. If you need further assistance, consider contacting Microsoft support for help with your specific situation.
