    Reinstall WebView2 manually

You will not necessarily see a service afterward, that’s normal

Office Share relies on the runtime, not the service list

Windows Credential Manager, different name than expected

    Why you can’t find it

In services.msc, it is NOT called “Windows Credential Manager”.

    Its real service name is:

    Credential Manager

    Service name: VaultSvc

    How to find it

    Press Win + R → type:

    services.msc

    Scroll down to Credential Manager

    Double-click it

    Set:

    • Startup type: Automatic
    • Service status: Running

    Click Apply → OK

If it is disabled, that alone will break the Share button.

Thanks for sharing the details! Try to enable required Windows background services

If these services are disabled, Share loads forever with no error.

    Press Win + R → type services.msc

Make sure ALL of these are:

    • Running
    • Startup type: Automatic

    Required services

    • Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant
    • Web Account Manager
    • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime Service
    • Windows Credential Manager

    Restart Windows

    Test Share again

If Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant was disabled, this alone fixes it.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
