No access to Authenticator

I am unable to sign in to my Microsoft account because I no longer have access to Microsoft Authenticator.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and the account was removed. Now, when I try to add the account again, I am required to complete two-step verification using a code from Microsoft Authenticator, which I cannot access because the account is no longer configured in the app.

I have also tried to disable two-step verification from the browser, but the system still requires two-step verification to proceed, creating a verification loop that prevents me from accessing my account or changing my security settings.

I do not have access to any alternative verification methods. I kindly request assistance to reset or disable the current two-step verification so I can regain access to my account and set up Microsoft Authenticator again.

If you are unable to access your Microsoft account due to not having access to the Microsoft Authenticator app, and you have no alternative verification methods, you will need to reset your account settings. Here are the steps you can take:

    1. Contact Support: Since you are locked out of your account and cannot complete the two-step verification, your best option is to contact Microsoft support directly. They can assist you in resetting your two-step verification settings.
    2. Use Recovery Options: If you have previously set up recovery options (like a backup email or phone number), try using those to regain access to your account.
    3. Emergency Access Account: If you have set up an emergency access account (also known as a break-glass account), you can use that to regain access to your main account. If you haven't set this up, consider doing so in the future to prevent similar issues.
    4. Account Recovery Form: If you cannot access any recovery options, you may need to fill out an account recovery form provided by Microsoft. This form will require you to verify your identity through other means.

Unfortunately, without access to the Authenticator app or alternative verification methods, you will need to rely on Microsoft support for assistance in regaining access to your account.
