Hi Mahmoud Elnady,
Here is the direct method to check your installed edition and test if your key matches the system:
Step 1: Verify the Installed Edition
- Press Windows Key + R, type
winver, and press Enter. - Check the dialogue box.
- If you purchased a Retail key, it is likely for Windows 11 Pro or Home.
- If your system says Windows 11 Enterprise, a Retail Pro key will not activate it. You would need to reinstall Windows 11 Pro.
Step 2: Force Install the Key via Command Prompt
- Open Command Prompt (Admin).
- Enter the following command (replace with your actual key):
slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Result Analysis:
- If you get "Installed product key successfully," proceed to type
slmgr /atoto activate. - If you get 0xc004c003 again, the key is definitely blocked by Microsoft and cannot be used. You will need to contact the seller.
- If you get an error stating "The product key usually works with a different edition," you have an Edition mismatch.
I am available to assist further if you can share the result.
