A Microsoft app for iOS and Android devices that enables authentication with two-factor verification, phone sign-in, and code generation
If you are unable to log in via the Microsoft Authenticator app and are not receiving the verification codes or notifications, there are a few steps you can take:
- Check for Notifications: Open the Microsoft Authenticator app and select Check for notifications to see if there are any pending requests that you can approve.
- Use Verification Codes: If notifications are not being received, you can use the OATH verification code feature in the Authenticator app. Enter the code manually in the sign-in interface.
- Update Your Account Information: If your user Principal Name (UPN) has changed, it might not reflect correctly in the app. In this case, you may need to dismiss any notifications and follow the steps to approve the MFA prompt directly through the app.
- Contact Support: If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to your organization's IT support or the Microsoft support team for further assistance.
Make sure that your Authenticator app is updated to the latest version, as older versions may have issues with notifications.
