I am attempting to upload a Win32 app and keep getting "The RPC call 'IntuneApp.getLobAppContentFile' returned an error. No error message could be found. Check whether the error was signaled with an Error object. Try adding this app again" error. I am not for sure what to do and Microsoft Support has been garbage at this point. I have attempted different browers, different Win32 packages (even ones that are already in Intune). Any help would be apppreciated

Anyone else getting this again today? Can see no service alert raised?

I didn't realize it was a MS issue until the Service Alert last night. Thank you for the response

I had a support call with MS and it was a known issue that appears to be resolved now. I was able to upload the app package.

The error message "The RPC call 'IntuneApp.getLobAppContentFile' returned an error" typically indicates an issue with the upload process of the Win32 app to Microsoft Intune. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check the App Package: Ensure that the Win32 app package is correctly formatted and meets the requirements for Intune. You can use the latest version of the Microsoft Win32 Content Prep Tool to package your app.
    2. Browser Compatibility: Since you've already tried different browsers, ensure that you are using a supported browser version. Sometimes, browser extensions or settings can interfere with the upload process.
    3. Network Issues: Check your network connection and ensure there are no firewall or proxy settings that might be blocking the upload.
    4. Intune Service Status: Verify if there are any ongoing issues with the Intune service that might be affecting app uploads. You can check the Microsoft service health dashboard for any reported issues.
    5. Retry the Upload: Sometimes, simply retrying the upload after a short period can resolve transient issues.
    6. Logs and Diagnostics: If the problem persists, consider collecting logs for further diagnosis. You can view installation issues and logs in the Microsoft Intune admin center, which may provide more insight into the error.

If you've exhausted these options and the issue continues, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support again with specific details about the steps you've taken and the errors encountered.
