A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hello Bill,
Thank you for reaching out about the missing OneDrive folder and for clearly explaining what you are seeing on your device I understand that the folder is still present on your local C drive but the updates you made during two thousand twenty five are not showing in OneDrive and that you have already checked the Deleted files and other recovery locations without finding it
I know how unsettling it can be to realize that important work appears to be missing especially when this happens after a subscription change and the files represent time and effort that cannot easily be replaced
Based on what you described this situation often occurs when there is a change in how OneDrive is signed in after activating Microsoft three sixty five through a different provider such as Amazon. If you already had an existing OneDrive account and then activated Office using a new subscription the OneDrive sync app may have signed in with a different Microsoft account or created a new sync connection. When that happens the local folder on your C drive may no longer be linked to the same OneDrive cloud location which would explain why recent updates were not uploaded and why the folder is not visible online. In many cases the data is still recoverable by checking which Microsoft account is currently signed into the OneDrive app reviewing the OneDrive folder path in the sync settings and confirming whether sync was paused or not fully connected. Signing back into the original Microsoft account and re linking the correct local folder often restores access to the missing content without needing file recovery
To help narrow this down can you confirm whether the email address currently signed into the OneDrive app is the same one you were using before activating Microsoft three sixty five through Amazon
I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back
Regards,
Marcelo
