Every time I send an email from an alias, I get a bounce back:
*"This message could not be sent. You do not have the permission to
send the message on behalf of the specified user."*
This has only started happening in the past couple of months. Help. Why can't I send from this email? I've had this email address for decades. It used to be my primary, but I switched it to an alias about 2 years ago.

Hi! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. Could you please let me know whether this is happening with an Outlook/Hotmail account, a third-party email account, or a Microsoft account created using a third-party email address? Also, have you tried logging in at Outlook.com, and does the same issue occur there?
Thanks for the response. It appears to work fine on outlook.com so it's only having issues in the Outlook Desktop app. It's happening with a hotmail account, using the classic outlook app.
