I purchased a Microsoft 365 personal subscription for $69.99 for 15 months for school a year ago in November at Best Buy. It turns out the school gave the students free Microsoft subscriptions. I didn't need to I didn't need it so I went to Best Buy within the week that I purchased the subscription. I requested a refund and they refused to give me a refund they informed me that I had to contact Microsoft for a refund. I called Microsoft, talked to a representative he said he would start the process of the refund I gave him my receipt details and everything. It's been a year and I have not received my refund

To request a refund for your Microsoft 365 subscription, you typically need to follow specific guidelines set by Microsoft. Since you mentioned that you purchased the subscription through Best Buy and attempted to get a refund within a week, you should have been eligible for a refund according to standard practices. However, since you were directed to contact Microsoft, it's important to ensure that the refund request was properly initiated.

If you have not received your refund after a year, you may want to take the following steps:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support Again: Reach out to Microsoft support with your purchase details and the previous communication you had regarding the refund. Make sure to mention that it has been a year since your initial request.
    2. Check for Documentation: Gather any documentation you have regarding the purchase and the refund request, including receipts and any correspondence with Microsoft.
    3. Follow Up: If you do not receive a satisfactory response, consider following up regularly until the issue is resolved.
    4. Escalate the Issue: If necessary, ask to escalate your case to a supervisor or a higher level of support.

Refunds for Microsoft subscriptions can sometimes take time, but it’s crucial to keep communication open with Microsoft support to resolve the issue.
