Open Word, then at the top right, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC and log back into Office, is your new subscription then recognized correctly.

If not, log into your Microsoft account on this link, is the expiry date listed on your Microsoft 365 subscription correct for the new subscription?

It seems that you are experiencing issues with your Microsoft 365 license. If you've recently entered a new product key and received a notification that your license is not valid, there are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check License Status: Ensure that the product key you entered is correct and corresponds to the version of Microsoft 365 you are using. Sometimes, entering the key incorrectly can lead to validation issues.
    2. Renew License: If your license has expired, you may need to renew it. You can do this by selecting the option to renew your subscription in the application or through the Microsoft account portal.
    3. Shared Computer Activation: If you are using shared computer activation, ensure that you are within the limits of activations allowed for your account. Exceeding this limit can result in invalid license notifications.
    4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your account and product details.

Make sure to keep your account information handy when contacting support to expedite the process.
