    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your question.

I understand how inconvenient it is when a feature you rely on like viewing the task list or notes without opening each task suddenly disappears in Microsoft Planner 😞.

Microsoft has transitioned from the classic Planner interface to a redesigned experience that focuses on views like Board, Grid, Charts, and Schedule, and as a result the dedicated List view or the ability to preview notes without opening tasks has been removed. This isn't a bug, but a deliberate change in the UI that reflects Microsoft's current design.

To work within these new constraints:

You can switch to Grid view, which allows bulk selection and editing of task details, though it doesn't show notes inline. For viewing or adding notes, you’ll need to open each task individually.

If inline note preview is critical for your workflow, Microsoft encourages users to submit this feedback directly—either via Help & feedback within the Planner web app or Teams, or through the Microsoft Planner UserVoice/Feedback portal, to help influence future updates.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel

The current context does not provide specific information regarding changes to the visibility options for the "task list" or "notes" in Microsoft Planner. It is unclear if this feature has been eliminated in the latest version of the application. For the most accurate and updated information, it may be beneficial to check the official Microsoft documentation or support channels related to Microsoft Planner.
