If you plan to unblock your inactive tenant, it’s essential that it has been blocked for less than 20 days. After the 20-day period, the tenant is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Timestamp of the failure

Administrators can reactivate the tenant within 20 days of it entering this inactive state. If the tenant remains inactive for longer than 20 days, it will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

To reactivate the tenant, the administrator should contact Microsoft support. If reactivation is not planned, it is important to note that the tenant will be deleted after the 20-day period and will not be recoverable.
