Cannot receive text message verification codes.

Question

I am not receiving text message verification codes to my mobile number linked to my hotmail account.

This is preventing me creating a Microsoft Authenticator App account and also updated or making changes to my hotmail account.

I have been discussing this issue for weeks with the Microsoft team via Facebook and now support chat who have guided me here.

We have tried multiple times using all different platforms and private browsers including Microsoft Edge to receive this codes however are unsuccessful.

My mobile carrier has not blocked Microsoft and I do not have any numbers or emails blocked on my phone.

Ideally we need the text verification code issue sorted then we can create a Microsoft Authenticator App account.

Lets solve this issue Microsoft please!
