Which operating systems are you using on your two devices?

Office updates, as well as operating system devices, are installed per device. You can't do all in one step.

To update a Microsoft program on another device, ensure that the device is connected to the internet and check for updates through the Microsoft Update or Windows Update feature. If the program was upgraded on one device, the other device may not automatically receive the same updates if it has not been configured to do so or if it does not have the same version of the program installed.

You can manually check for updates by going to Start, then All Programs, and selecting Windows Update. If updates are available for the Microsoft program, they should be listed there. If the program is not installed on the other device, you may need to install it first before updates can be applied.
