Hello
I tried logging into my other Microsoft account and I entered my password. It then asked me to verify. It asked me to enter my last 4 digits of my phone number that was linked to my account. When I entered it, it said check your messages for a message. I never received the SMS to verify my account. I bought Minecraft on my other account and I can't log in. There's nothing wrong with my phone because when I tried verifying on this account it sent a SMS. I don't know if Microsoft blocked my other account or not. I waited 3 months and tried again and again I didn't receive a code. I don't know how to fix it.

I have the same problem.
When applying for SMS code it gives a message that SMS service is currently not available. But is is already been so for 2 weeks.
