I'm trying to login to my Azure account (portal.azure.com), and it keeps showing this error message:

(I have multiple tenants in the account and at least one is active with billing set up and everything, so not sure why I cannot access it)

Sign-in failed

Error code: interaction_required

    Hello M,

To resolve this, we need to create an ICM and forward it to the backend team.

This issue will be resolved by signing in using the tenant-specific Azure portal URL and the tenant ID I have provided over the private messages tab:

    HTTP

    https://portal.azure.com/<tenant-ID>

Once you accessed the portal through the tenant-scoped URL, the tenant became active again and you will be able to manage resources without further issues.

And the tenant will be restored successfully.

The error message you are encountering, interaction_required: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity, indicates that the tenant associated with your Azure account has been marked as inactive. This can happen if the tenant has not been used for a certain period, leading to it being blocked to reduce unnecessary expenses.

To resolve this issue, you can take the following steps:

    1. Check Tenant Status: Ensure that at least one of your tenants is active and not blocked. If you have multiple tenants, verify their statuses.
    2. Reactivation Request: If the tenant is indeed inactive, the tenant administrator can reach out to Microsoft support to request reactivation within 20 days of the tenant entering the inactive state. After 20 days, the tenant may be deleted and cannot be recovered.
    3. Use Incognito Mode: Sometimes, clearing browser data or using an incognito window can help bypass certain login issues.
    4. Upgrade Account: If you are prompted to upgrade your account, consider doing so to regain access to your services.

If you need further assistance, consider contacting Microsoft support directly for help with your specific situation.
