no client has connection to WSUS since inplace upgrade to Server 2019

Hi,

we did an inplace upgrade of our SCCM/WSUS server to server 2019. After a certain amount of time, we recognized that no client could connect wsus anymore.
When I try to open http://sccmserver:8530/ClientWebService/client.asmx from the server, it opens. If I try the same on a client, it does not. I am not sure if it should work on clients, too.
I am sorry, our Installation is in german. Despite of this, I give two screenshots....

    Ensure 8530/8531 is open on the firewall on the WSUS server - perhaps create a new firewall rule to ensure

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    According the documentation, before we upgrade the OS of SCCM site systems, we need to remove the WSUS role from the server if it's installed. You may keep the SUSDB and reattach it once WSUS is reinstalled.
    For now, you may try to remove and reinstall WSUS role to see if it helps.
