    Hi Pierre,

What precise resource types did you create in your subscription? From your description it sounds like you created a resource (or multiple) and it has been accruing charges ever since. There are definitely resources that you can create that cost $394 or even a lot more each day.

To stop accruing charges I recommend backing up any data (if any exists you need to keep) and then deleting the resource(s) immediately. Often it is easiest to delete the resource group which contains the resources.

If you navigate to your subscription in the Azure portal, next on left click on Cost Management -- Cost analysis, then at the top click View -- Cost by resource. This will show you a breakdown of costs by each resource, with the highest cost item listed at the top.

If you have any questions or are unsure please add a comment below. It is important for you to get the resources that are accruing charges deleted to stop future costs.

Please click Accept Answer and upvote if the above was helpful.

    Thanks.

    -TP

If you just signed up for a pay-as-you-go Azure subscription and are seeing an outstanding amount of $394, it could be due to several factors:

    1. Usage Charges: Pay-as-you-go subscriptions are billed based on the services you use. If you have started using Azure services, the charges can accumulate quickly depending on the resources consumed.
    2. Billing Cycle: Charges are typically finalized at the end of the billing period. If your billing period has just ended, you might see charges reflecting your usage.
    3. Credits and Discounts: If you have any credits or discounts applied, they may not have been reflected in your current outstanding amount yet.

To get a clearer understanding of the charges, you can review your invoice in the Azure portal. This will provide detailed information about your usage and the corresponding charges. You can also compare your invoiced charges with the detailed daily usage file to see where the charges are coming from.

If you need further assistance, consider checking the Azure portal for billing details or contacting Azure support for clarification on your charges.
