Hi,

Will i face any issues with the Authenticator app installed on my Android phone if i change the SIM card of the phone from 4G to 5G? The device and phone number will remain the same.

Not at all. Authenticator apps like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator generate codes locally on your phone and don’t rely on your mobile network for daily operation. The SIM and network type mainly affect receiving SMS-based codes, so as long as you’re not switching phone numbers, your app-generated codes will continue to work normally.
