My new PC WIN11 system is not detecting my iPhone 12 (IOS26) It was detecting it a couple of months ago. Now it stopped. Why? and How can I rectify this problem?

I never had a problem with my WIN10 system.

Just to clarify so I can guide you better, do you see the iPhone charging when connected, and does it appear in Device Manager at all, even with a warning icon?

Also, open Device Manager and look for “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver” under Universal Serial Bus controllers. If it’s missing or shows an error, that confirms a driver issue rather than a phone fault.

If your Windows 11 PC is not detecting your iPhone 12, there are several potential reasons and solutions you can try:

    1. Check USB Connection: Ensure that the USB cable you are using is functioning properly. Try using a different cable or USB port on your PC.
    2. Trust This Computer: When you connect your iPhone to the PC, make sure to unlock your iPhone and check if a prompt appears asking you to "Trust This Computer." If you see it, tap "Trust."
    3. Update Drivers: Ensure that your PC has the latest drivers installed for your iPhone. You can check for updates in Device Manager on your Windows PC.
    4. Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting both your iPhone and your PC can resolve connectivity issues.
    5. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 system is fully updated. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs that affect device detection.
    6. Reinstall iTunes: If you are using iTunes, try reinstalling it as it can help with device recognition issues.

If none of these solutions work, you may want to consult Microsoft support or Apple support for further assistance.
