My emails in outlook are not sending. I use a different email, but through outlook. It keeps re-downloading ALL of my emails from last Wednesday on, every time that I log on. And then, it won't send any emails out. Please can you help me?

Open the Settings App, go to Windows Updates - Update History, what is the KB number of the latest update installed, is it, KB5074109?

If that is the latest update installed, this is an ongoing problem with Outlook after the January KB5074109 Update, that update is affecting POP accounts, this is being reported by many people after that update, some people have reported if you uninstall the Windows update, that will resolve the problem.

Microsoft have indicated they are working to resolve this problem caused by the update and will provide a solution as soon as possible.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with sending emails and repeated downloading of emails in Outlook. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection as connectivity issues can affect sending and receiving emails.
    2. Repair Office Application: Sometimes, repairing the Office application can resolve issues. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, selecting your Office installation, and choosing the Repair option.
    3. Check Send/Receive Groups: If your Send/Receive group is damaged, it can cause issues. You may need to create a new Send/Receive group. For Outlook 2010 and later, you can do this by going to File > Options > Advanced > Send/Receive.
    4. Check for Metered Connection: If you are on a metered connection, Outlook may restrict some functionalities. Make sure you are connected to a non-metered network.
    5. Disable Add-ins: Sometimes, add-ins can interfere with Outlook's functionality. Try starting Outlook in safe mode (by running Outlook.exe /safe) to see if the problem persists. If it works fine in safe mode, consider disabling add-ins one by one to identify the culprit.
    6. Check for External Content: If emails contain external content, it may cause Outlook to freeze or not respond. You can prevent Outlook from downloading external content by adjusting settings in File > Options > Trust Center > Automatic Download.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider checking for any updates or reinstalling Outlook.
