Filter ListView with variable using JQuery in SharePoint 2016

Hello Everyone,

I've looked everywhere. I'm simply trying to dynamically set the filter of one of my columns in a ListView with a variable from a form on the same page in SharePoint 2016.

Please help,

    None of these options work for me. I already have the ListView filtered by SSN and I want to filter the list by Fiscal Year as well when the user clicks on a top ListView item. Is this possible with one of these options?
