Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

The error message suggests that there may be an issue with your network connection. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to see if they resolve the problem:

    1. Quit all Office applications.

Open a Command Prompt window as an administrator.

Run the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each command:

    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

Once completed, restart your computer and open the Office applications.

Go to File > Account > Sign out.

Then sign in again with your Microsoft account.

If you are still experiencing issues, switch your Wi‑Fi connection to a mobile hotspot network and check whether you can activate your Office subscription.
