Hi,

We are in process of upgrading to SQL Server 2019 from SQL Server 2016 . All our packages are built using SQL Server Data Tools 14.0.61712.050 with target server 2016. When we upgrade to 2019 we would also like to upgrade to latest version of SSIS Designer . With SQL Server 2019 should we use VS2019 and download the SSIS Extension ? What version of Visual Studio is recommended to use ? I could not find any recommendations .

You should be using the most current version of Visual Studio with the most current version of the add-in.

    Hi @Divyesh Patel .

You may use Visual Studio 2019 and the newest SQL Server Integration Services Projects v3.15.
