Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

Does your headset have 2 jack connectors P2 (two black or white lines), a single jack connector P3 (three black or white lines), or a USB connector, or is it connected via Bluetooth?

Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    I await your reply.

If you are unable to run Windows troubleshooting for your microphone issue, there are a few steps you can take to resolve the problem:

    1. Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager and ensure that your audio drivers are installed and functioning properly. Look for any warning signs next to the audio devices.
    2. Update or Roll Back Drivers: If you have recently updated your audio drivers, consider rolling back to a previous version to see if that resolves the issue. Alternatively, you can check for updates to ensure you have the latest drivers.
    3. Run Audio Troubleshooter: If the troubleshooting app is not launching, you can try accessing it directly through the Settings app. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and find the audio troubleshooter to run it manually.
    4. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows is up to date, as updates can fix bugs that may be causing issues with the troubleshooting app.
    5. Reinstall Audio Drivers: If the above steps do not work, you can uninstall the audio drivers from Device Manager and then restart your PC. Windows will automatically reinstall the drivers upon reboot.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to seek further assistance from Microsoft support or check their forums for similar issues.
