Hello, i was wondering if anyone knows a problem I've been having for the past 6 months now with my Microsoft account. Every time I sign into through the main website It just takes me back to the sign in page and sometimes it just does a loop without taking me to any page so I can't access my subscriptions or personal data. Another is trying to sign into apps with the account like Xbox apps. When I sign into it, It gives me an error  0x80004005. I know this error and I've tried everything, to even re installing windows but the problem was still there and I thought it was my pc but Unfortunately it was my Microsoft account. I've tried talking to many employees with Microsoft but there no help. One of them told me there wasn't a problem with it? Then how come I can't sign into it? The only way I can access my account is through my Xbox console with all my games and that's it.

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with signing into your Microsoft account, both on the website and through apps like Xbox. The sign-in loop you described can sometimes occur due to various reasons, including issues with authentication tokens or account settings.

For the error code 0x80004005, this is a common error that can indicate an unspecified failure, often related to permissions or account settings. Here are a few steps you might consider trying:

    1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: If you're facing issues on the website, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can sometimes resolve sign-in problems.
    2. Check Account Status: Ensure that your Microsoft account is in good standing and that there are no security holds or issues that might prevent sign-in.
    3. Use a Different Browser or Device: Sometimes, switching to a different browser or device can help isolate the issue.
    4. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows and any relevant apps (like Xbox) are fully updated.
    5. Local Account: If possible, try switching to a local account temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
    6. Contact Support Again: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support again, providing them with specific details about the error and the steps you've already taken.

If you've already tried reinstalling Windows and the issue remains, it may be more related to the account itself rather than your device.
