    Hello Saad Waseem,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

I understand that you are having payment issue. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you go through this situation.

    I suggest you check this:

Step 1: Check and Correct Your Microsoft Account Region

    Go here: https://account.microsoft.com/profile

Confirm: Country/Region = Pakistan (must match your bank card)

If it shows USA, you will not be able to pay with a Pakistani card until this is corrected.

Step 2: Redeem Microsoft 365 Education using your university email

    Go to: https://www.microsoft.com/education/products/office

Enter your university email. Most Pakistani universities are supported.

If your school qualifies, you can activate:

    • Office apps online (free)
    • OneDrive 1 TB

This part does not require a card. Payment is only needed if you want Microsoft 365 Personal/Family or LinkedIn Premium.

    Step 3: For Paid Subscriptions

For Microsoft 365 Personal/Family or LinkedIn Premium:

You must use a payment method issued in the same country as the billing profile.

    To fix the mismatch:

    1. Make sure your Microsoft Account region = Pakistan
    2. Go to Payments: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments
    3. Delete all old US addresses
    4. Add a new Pakistani billing address
    5. Add your Pakistani debit/credit card again

This usually removes the cross‑border payment block.

if the situation persists, I suggest you contact Microsoft support for the best assistance:

    To contact Microsoft Support:

    1. Visit this site: Contact – Microsoft Support
    2. Type Contact in the search box.
    3. Now, click on Get Help and select Contact Support or enter below to contact support.
    4. Go to the Products & Services tab and Microsoft 365 and Office > Billing and Payment Updates
    5. Go to Confirm.
    6. You can now choose the Chat with a support agent option in your web browser.

Please note that the chat support team only works during certain working hours. Therefore, if the last window indicates that you are unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

It seems that you are facing a cross-border payment issue when trying to claim the Microsoft 365 student offer and LinkedIn Premium with your Pakistani card. This issue often arises when the payment method is not accepted due to regional restrictions or policies. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this:

    1. Verify Payment Method: Ensure that your payment method is issued from Pakistan and is valid for international transactions. Some cards may have restrictions based on the country of issuance.
    2. Contact Your Bank: Reach out to your bank or card issuer to confirm that your card is active and can be used for international purchases. They may provide insights on any restrictions that could be causing the rejection.
    3. Use Alternative Payment Methods: If possible, consider using a different payment method that is accepted in your region. Sometimes, using a different card or payment service can help bypass these restrictions.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue persists, you may need to contact Microsoft support for assistance. They can provide specific guidance related to your account and the payment issue you are experiencing.
    5. Check for Regional Restrictions: Be aware that certain offers may have regional restrictions. Ensure that the student offer you are trying to claim is available in Pakistan.

Following these steps should help you address the cross-border payment issue you are encountering.
