cannot reset child account

my child forgot their password and i need to access my child's outlook account. how do i reset password?

If I may ask, do you or your child have access to the security information/verification methods, email, or phone number linked to the account?

Did your child have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account? If yes, is your child able to access the second factor of authentication?

Also, does your child still have the 25-character recovery codes for 2FA?

Lastly, may I know when was the last time your child successfully signed in to their Outlook account?
