I just upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and after I successfully installed Windows 11, it indicated no product key was found on my device, I clicked change product key and entered the product key I have for years

Where did you get your Windows licence was that pre-installed on the PC or did you purchase a full retail Windows licence from Microsoft or from a 3rd party retailer?

Or is your Windows licence based on a previous Windows 7 or 8 licence?

    2

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

Please post a screenshot of the resulting dialog

    3

Download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store.

On the that app, click 'Check Edition', then enter your product key into that app.

Please provide a screenshot of that app window and please hide your product key in the screenshot.

If you upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and received a message indicating that no product key was found on your device, there are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Your Microsoft Account: Make sure that your Windows 10 digital license is linked to your Microsoft account. This can help in automatically activating Windows 11.
    2. Use the Activation Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation, and run the Activation Troubleshooter. This may help in reactivating your Windows if it detects a valid license.
    3. Enter Product Key Again: If you have a product key, you can try entering it again. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation, and click on "Change product key" to enter your key.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If the above steps do not work, you may need to contact Microsoft Support for assistance. They can help verify your digital license and assist with activation issues.
    5. Reinstall Windows: In some cases, a clean installation of Windows 11 may resolve activation issues, especially if the upgrade process encountered problems.

Keep in mind that if your original license was upgraded from a previous version of Windows, there might be restrictions on using that license for Windows 11.
