Copilot errors out when trying to create a chart

I asked Copilot in excel (web) to create a chart with my data and it failed. Then I tried asking to create a "fake" chart and it failed as well. I did it on an incognito window with no VPN configured.

Any clues??

It appears that there could be several reasons why Copilot in Excel is failing to create a chart with your data. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can consider:

    1. Check for Licensing Issues: Ensure that you have a valid license that supports Microsoft 365 Copilot. If your license is not properly assigned, it may cause functionality issues.
    2. Data Integrity: Make sure that the data you are trying to use for the chart is complete and formatted correctly. If there are missing values or incorrect data types, it may lead to errors when generating charts.
    3. Browser Compatibility: Since you mentioned using an incognito window, ensure that your browser is up to date. Sometimes, browser extensions or settings can interfere with web applications.
    4. Server Issues: If there are any ongoing server issues with Microsoft services, it could affect Copilot's performance. You might want to check the service status on Microsoft's official channels.

If the issue persists after checking these points, consider reaching out to your IT support for further assistance.
