Invalid 2FA for a client tenant's admin

Good day, I have a client whose m365 tenant I need to access - the admin account's 2FA no longer works however. I have the password, but I can't access the account. Unfortunately, this is also the only admin account for the client. Can I get some help recovering the account? I sat on hold for 3 hours on Friday but got on a call briefly with a client and then saw I was no longer in the queue.

    Hi @Jordan Cobb,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum, and I’m sorry to hear about the situation. I understand how challenging it can be when the only admin account is locked behind a non‑working 2FA method.

To ensure we resolve this securely, I have initiated a private message for your convenience and left a note there. At your earliest availability, please review that message so I can assist you more affectively.
