    Hello

    This email looks phishy.

Is it from an address ending with microsoft.com?

Hover over the link it wants you to click on, right click and choose copy link address, paste it to a notepad for example, does this link take you to a non-microsoft.com domain?

    If so, it is scam.

If you received an email asking you to verify your account details, it's important to verify whether the email is genuinely from Microsoft. Microsoft support typically sends emails from specific domains such as microsoft.com, microsoftsupport.com, or mail.support.microsoft.com. If the email is from a different domain, it may be a phishing attempt.

To ensure your safety, do not click on any links or provide personal information until you confirm the email's authenticity. You can hover over links to see their actual destination and check the sender's email address carefully. If you suspect the email is a phishing scam, you should report it and avoid any interaction with it.

For more information on identifying phishing emails and protecting yourself, you can refer to Microsoft's guidance on this topic.
