Why Microsoft Why

I would like to know why each and every time I purchase a new computer, and I try to sign in to my Microsoft account I am not able to. I get told to add my phone number and you refuse to send me the code to enter. Why is it every year that I buy a new laptop I have to file a complaint with the Washington and the Minnesota Attorney General's Office in order to get any assistance. Why is it that Microsoft has decided that US consumers are not worth the time and effort for someone to talk to, to get actual Customer Service. I am getting sick and tired of Microsoft taking out money and then NOT providing any Customer Service Support. How many of you are tired of the same thing? I suggest that you file a complaint with your own states Attorney General's Office and File one with the state of Washington. Microsoft is a multi-multi-billion-dollar company and they cant afford to provide adequate customer service. That is a shame and that is pitiful. We the consumers have made Microsoft the Multi-Multi-Billion Dollar Company that it is and this is what we get. Thank you, Microsoft,

If need be I will file another complaint every day until I am able to gain access to my account. I am sick and tired of Microsoft not caring about their customers. and I will encourage everyone to do the same. You all know that we need Microsoft to do our work and our daily lives, but you don't care to provide adequate customer service. Again, I encourage any and everyone who reads my questions that are experiencing the same nonsense to file a complaint with your States Attorney General and with the Attorney General of Washington State.

It sounds like you're facing ongoing challenges with accessing your Microsoft account, especially when setting up new devices. This can be frustrating, particularly if you're not receiving the verification codes needed to log in. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Reset Your Password: Try resetting your password using InPrivate mode in your browser or by clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes, browser settings can interfere with the verification process.
    2. Use a Different Browser or Device: If you're having trouble with one browser, switching to another or trying a different device might help you receive the verification code.
    3. Change Networks: If possible, try connecting to a different network, such as your mobile data instead of Wi-Fi. This can sometimes resolve issues related to network settings.
    4. Account Recovery Form: If you're still unable to access your account, you may need to fill out the Microsoft account recovery form. Ensure that you provide as much accurate information as possible to verify your identity.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If the above steps do not work, contacting Microsoft Support directly is essential. You can do this by searching for "Get Help" in your Windows search bar, selecting "Contact support," and following the prompts to chat with a support agent or request a callback. This may help you get direct assistance with your account issues.
    6. Feedback and Complaints: If you feel that your concerns are not being addressed adequately, consider providing feedback through official channels or filing a complaint with consumer protection agencies, as you mentioned. This can sometimes prompt a more thorough response from the company.

It's unfortunate to hear about your negative experiences, and many users share similar frustrations regarding customer service. Hopefully, these steps will help you regain access to your account more smoothly in the future.
