Windows password

I need my current windows password to sign in to my windows but ive forgotten it what can i do?

Hi there,

If your user is linked with a Microsoft account, you can reset the password

If it is a Local account you must try the clean install method or try out these steps
Press the Shift key while you select the Power button > Restart in the lower-right corner of the screen.

On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.

Select Remove everything.

It really depends on whether you are using Microsoft Account or Local Account and if you have any other account?
Take a look at:

In worse case, you have to reinstall your Windows.
