Will completing the free Microsoft Azure course help me get a devops job?

I have been working through the Azure certification course on Microsoft website. My end goal is to potentially get a devops job. Am I on the right path? Or am I wasting time getting the Azure cert? If so, where should I be starting? I have studied both java and python in the past.

    Microsoft Certification Program is supported on their own forums. I'd try asking for assistance in dedicated forums here. (Participate\Ask A Question)
