On January 4, 2025, I paid for my Personal Microsoft 365 subscription on your site for two years, until January 4, 2027.

More than a year before the end of my two-year plan, you sent me a letter demanding payment of UAH 2699 for this plan after January 4, 2027.

I tried to cancel this payment through my account, but I couldn't. My account appeared empty,  even though I had made the payment on your website. Your managers were unable to help me for 3 days, because none of the options in my account were active.

I informed your managers that I wouldn't be renewing this plan. They assured me that this wouldn't affect the validity of my plan until January 04, 2027, and that I'd be able to use the paid package until its expiration date. However,  after not receiving a payment of UAH 2699 in January 2026 (!), you disconnected my plan, which was paid for until January 04, 2027!! This is outright fraud!

I demand that you reactivate my plan, which is paid for until January 04, 2027, or return my subscription money. I'll write to your CEO Satya Nadella about your fraudulent practices. I'll inform all social media platforms about your dishonest policies and blackmail tactics towards your customers.

    Hi Viktoria Savchenko,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum

I’m truly sorry for the distress and frustration this situation has caused you. I can understand how upsetting it must feel to believe that a service you paid for was not handled as expected, especially after the time, trust, and effort you invested.

I would highly recommend contacting Microsoft Support for further assistance as they can have a further look into this issue. Please feel free to follow these steps to connect with a live chat agent:

    • Go to Contact Us
    • Sign in and choose Get Home support
    • In the text box, please write "Live chat" - scroll down and click Contact Support
    • After that, choose your Products and services as Microsoft 365 and Office. The Category as Billing and Account Profile questions. Click Confirm and you will be able to see Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

The Chat support team only works at certain work times, (Monday to Friday: 9AM to 6PM. Saturday and Sunday: 10AM. to 6PM.) so if the last window says you are not available, try to open it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.

Thank you for your understanding and patience

It sounds like you are experiencing a significant issue with your Microsoft 365 subscription, particularly regarding billing and account management. Unfortunately, I cannot directly assist with account-specific issues or billing disputes. However, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support directly for assistance with your subscription. They can help you resolve issues related to account access, billing errors, and reactivation of your plan.
