BSOD with different codes

I've been having BSOD issues with my laptop for at least a month, it has been completely random as to when it occurs but also, it's been happening frequently. Each time giving me a different stop code.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (d1)
ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY (be)

i already took it to a repair shop two times, the first time they send the RAM that was added to be tested and was returned without issues but the BSODs still popped out, and this time the RAM is completely different but i'm still getting these errors, i tried deactivating hyper-v but i got hit by a BSOD after 5 hours with the error code HYPERVISOR_ERROR (0x20001) and it didn't leave a minidump behind. There were more minidumps but since the laptop was restored to fabric settings (not via usb) i lost them.
Sorry if my english isn't that good

Hi, thank you for that information. After checking and analyzing the new DMP file, it is only displaying a general error on the PC, which is still pointing to the AMD graphics driver. Since the issue persists, let us make sure that there is no software-related error on the PC. I suggest doing an in-place upgrade, wherein it will update the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link:

Yes, please keep me posted and share the new Minidump files if the issue occurs again. I’m optimistic that everything will be fine unless this is caused by a hardware problem.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

Upon analyzing and checking the DMP logs, the error you have is amdkmdag.sys. Which is your AMD graphics card driver? To fix the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

Let us run a clean installation of the AMD driver. This will remove all entries and replace them with compatible ones. Kindly follow the steps from the link below:

Step 1. Completely uninstall the AMD GPU Driver using the steps from this link:

    https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-601.html

Step 2. Reinstall the AMD Graphics driver using the steps from the link below:

Install the AMD Radeon and automatically detect the AMD driver:

    https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-131.html

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

Additional note: If the issue persists, I suggest removing the GPU and placing it into another PCIe port available (This is only applicable if you are using a Desktop or an external GPU). However, if all fails, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

It sounds like you're experiencing a variety of BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) errors, which can be frustrating. Here are some potential causes and troubleshooting steps based on the stop codes you've mentioned:

    1. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0x0000000A): This error often indicates that a driver is trying to access a memory address that it shouldn't. You should check for faulty drivers, especially if you've recently updated or installed new hardware. Consider rolling back any recent driver updates or checking for new ones.
    2. PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (0x00000050): This can occur due to faulty hardware, such as RAM, or issues with drivers. Since you've already tested the RAM, ensure that all drivers are up to date and compatible with your version of Windows.
    3. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0x000000D1): Similar to the first error, this indicates a driver issue. Check the System log in Event Viewer for any additional error messages that might help identify the problematic driver.
    4. ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY (0x000000BE): This error can be caused by faulty drivers or hardware. Again, ensure your drivers are updated and check for any hardware issues.
    5. HYPERVISOR_ERROR (0x20001): This error is related to Hyper-V. If you have disabled Hyper-V and still encounter this issue, it may be worth checking the BIOS settings to ensure virtualization is configured correctly.

    General Troubleshooting Steps:

    • Check Device Manager: Look for any devices with an exclamation mark and update their drivers.
    • Run Windows Memory Diagnostics: This tool can help identify any memory issues.
    • Check Event Viewer: Look for critical errors that occurred around the time of the BSOD to help pinpoint the issue.
    • Remove Recent Hardware: If you added new hardware recently, consider removing it to see if that resolves the issue.
    • Run a Virus Scan: Ensure that your system is free from malware that could be causing instability.

Since you mentioned losing minidumps after a factory reset, it might be beneficial to enable the creation of minidumps again to gather more information if the BSODs continue. This can help in diagnosing the underlying cause more effectively.
