Microsoft Authenticator Back Up Not Working

Hello,

I recently reset (formatted) my phone and reinstalled Microsoft Authenticator. Before resetting, I had enabled cloud backup in the app and was signed in with my Microsoft account.

After reinstalling the app and signing in with the same Microsoft account (the only one I use), the app now says that no backup is available. I’m confident that backup was enabled before the reset.

Because of this, I’ve lost access to time-based codes for important accounts (including Discord), and those services do not offer recovery without the authenticator codes.

Could you please help me verify whether a backup exists on my Microsoft account or if there is any way to restore or recover the Authenticator data associated with my account?
