merge learn profiles

Question

Hi,
I live to merge my 2 microsoft learn profiles into 1 but when i try so i get an error that i can only use 1 personal account. How can i accomplish this?

You will need to use a work account as a "bridge" as you can only have one personal account linked to a Learn profile at any one time

To merge your Microsoft Learn profiles, you need to ensure that only one of the profiles contains a personal Microsoft account. If you are receiving an error indicating that you can only use one personal account, it likely means that both profiles currently have personal accounts associated with them.

Here are the steps to successfully merge your profiles:

1. Identify the Profile: Choose one profile that you want to keep as your main profile.
2. Remove the Personal Account from the Other Profile: You will need to remove the personal account from the profile that you do not want to keep. This can be done by signing into that profile and navigating to the account management settings.
3. Merge the Profiles: After ensuring that only one profile has a personal account, you can proceed to merge the profiles by adding the login account from the second profile to the main profile. This will trigger the merge process.

Keep in mind that merging profiles cannot be undone, and all learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from both profiles will be combined into the single profile you choose to keep.
