I went to connect some Bluetooth earbuds and anytime i click add a device and click Bluetooth it doesn't even try to pair anything and immediately says nothing was found. I tried to open device manager and maybe reboot Bluetooth but when i open device manager Bluetooth isn't even there.

    Nick,

May I please know if you have downloaded and installed the Bluetooth drivers from your laptop or from the motherboard manufacturer's website?

If you are having difficulty in finding the drivers, type msinfo in the Search bar on the taskbar and click Enter.

Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

It appears that Bluetooth is missing from Device Manager.

Do the drivers appear when you click View > Show hidden devices in Device Manager?

If the drivers are missing, you can go to your PC or Motherboard Manufacturer's website, input your device model or serial number, then go to the Drivers & Download section to download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers for your device model.

If you are having difficulty finding the drivers, type msinfo in the Search bar on the taskbar and click Enter.

Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your Bluetooth functionality on Windows 11. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Bluetooth Status: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device. You can do this by going to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and making sure Bluetooth is toggled on.
    2. Update Bluetooth Drivers: Since Bluetooth isn't showing up in Device Manager, it might be a driver issue. You can check for updates in Device Manager by right-clicking on your Bluetooth adapter (if it appears) and selecting Update driver. If it doesn't appear, you may need to reinstall the Bluetooth drivers from the manufacturer's website.
    3. Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and run the Bluetooth troubleshooter. This can help identify and fix issues automatically.
    4. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
    5. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 is up to date, as updates can fix bugs and improve hardware compatibility.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, it may be a hardware problem with your Bluetooth adapter. In that case, consider checking with the manufacturer for further assistance.
