    Hi. I'm Brian.

If you are using a personal account and not a business or educational account, then because you deleted the authenticator, you will never be able to use that account again unless you have alternate ways to receive the code, like SMS or another email address. The whole point of the authenticator is to make it impossible to access the account without both the password and the authenticator. For a personal account, Microsoft will not disable two-factor authentication for you.

If you've accidentally deleted the Microsoft Authenticator app and are unable to log into your accounts because you can't receive the authentication codes, you can follow these steps to regain access:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you cannot access your accounts, reach out to Microsoft Customer Support. Explain that you have lost access to your authenticator app and need assistance in resetting your multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings. If you are the only administrator for your account, make sure to mention that.
    2. Use a Backup Method: If you had previously set up alternative verification methods (like a phone number or email), try using those to receive a code instead.
    3. Re-register MFA: If you have access to another admin account, you can have them reset the MFA settings for your account. This can be done through the Azure portal by requiring re-registration of MFA.
    4. Create a Temporary Account: If you cannot reach a live agent, consider creating a temporary account (trial tenant) to submit a support ticket on behalf of your original account.
    5. Backup and Recovery: In the future, make sure to back up your accounts in the Authenticator app to avoid losing access again. You can find instructions on how to back up and recover account credentials using the Microsoft Authenticator app in the documentation.

These steps should help you regain access to your accounts and set up the authenticator app again.
