Hi,
I have customized Windows 7 OS in which am not seeing Dot3svc(Wired AutoConfig Service). I wanted to know the component/package which install this service in Windows 7 and windows 10.
Is anyone know which component/package will install this service?

As far as I can know, this is a known issue in WinPE versions 1607 and 1703
Windows PE Network/WinPE-Dot3Svc optional component doesn’t work in Windows 10 Version 1607 or Version 1703

My question is :
Am trying to enable 802.1x feature on our windows 10 product. But Wired Autoconfig service is missing on the windows 10 OS. I need to know which package/component installs the Wired Autoconfig service.
Is it 'Microsoft-Windows-Deployment component' or some other component/Package which install this service in Windows 10 OS?

Am looking for Windows 7 or Windows 10 component/Package which installs this service.
I exported the Wired_AutoConfig.reg file which provided in the above link on Windows 7 system the Dot3SVC is showing but when i tried to start the service getting error like 'The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement this service'. Looks like the above .reg file works for windows 10 not for windows 7.
