SharePoint page library Permission required to Unpublish a version of a file

Question

Hello,

My question is which level permission is required to let users unpublish a version of a file? with "Approve items" is enough or do they need "delete versions" too? i need to reduce the permission levels to adjust on the requirement because another user made a change into a page from other team and they want to unpublish that version so i need to set or correct their custom permissions.

Per my test, users with Contribute permission can unpublish a version.

In other words, users only need "Delete versions" permission.
