Check boxes diff

I tried to create the check boxes but it does not look the same as others.

This is what I created from my computer

This is what my friend created from here computer box2

Microsoft 365 and Office | Excel | Other | Windows

    Hi, I created checkboxes from Insert > Checkbox but nothing is changed. mine is still different

    Your friend is using the new modern in‑Cell checkbox, these checkboxes are inside the cell, not floating objects inside an Excel sheet

    Here is how you can create these checkboxes:

    • In Excel, select the cells where you want checkboxes
    • Go to Insert > Checkbox

    This creates the same bold, high‑contrast checkbox your friend has.
