Cannot download ASP.NET Core runtime from Microsoft

It appears that most links referring to download.visualstudio.microsoft.com are reporting The service is unavailable.

Hi @madallday , what do you mean for cannot download asp.net core runtime? Can you pop up save as window to choose the download location? Or it appears nothing when you open the link? Please share more details instead of just cannot download. Here is an another way to download the asp.net core 2.1 runtime by using Visual Studio Installer .Open Visual Studio Installer->choose modify button->choose Individual components->check the .NET Core Runtime->chick modify button.

Your method does not help when trying to install components on a server. Microsoft servers appears to be down.

download.visualstudio.microsoft.com/download/
Then attempt to download one of the packages, nothing happens, click download manually and you get:
The service is unavailable.

The issue below appears to be resolved as of about 20 minutes ago

i am also experiencing this issue when attempting to download the following package:

https://download.visualstudio.microsoft.com/download/pr/e6c614f2-b18d-4106-9bbe-f8b37e577761/2ae60d9a63e943985bee2fa541d13d59/cab2.cab

It gives the following error:
The service is unavailable.

Going to the root downloads page (https://download.visualstudio.microsoft.com/) gives a 500 Internal Server Error.
