I found that the camera does not havew the IR feature necessary for the Hello facial recognition app. Thanks to all for your efforts.

If you are using the tower, that means it doesn't come with built in camera or mic.

Are you using any external camera and mic? If so, what are you using, brand/model info?

Yes, I've tried different ports. No, it's not in the device manager "inputs," but it is listed in the "audio." btw: the camera and its microphone work fine with Zoom, and my Microsoft account was able to use it to take my photo for my account icon. Just the problem with the Windows Hello app.

Ohhh, ok, I thought the camera is not working at all.

In order for facial recognition to work, your camera needs to have the infrared feature. If it is just a regular camera, even if it is high definition, it will not support facial recognition.

You will need to check with EMEET support to see if this camera supports that. At first glance, that doesn't appear to be the case.
