Troubleshooting a Disabled Subscription

For security reasons, your account or subscription has been disabled.

To protect the payment method owner and Microsoft, we detected suspicious activity or a Terms of Use violation and disabled your subscription. If you believe this is an error, please continue to submit a support ticket to our security team to review the decision. I keep getting this message, and I don't know what to do to reactivate it.

    Hello 최성현

When an Azure subscription shows “disabled for security reasons due to suspicious activity or a Terms of Use violation,” it has been intentionally blocked by Azure Security/Fraud Prevention not by billing, credit expiry, or spending limits. This state can’t be fixed in the Azure portal (paying invoices, adding a card, or upgrading won’t help), and support engineers can’t override it. The only supported action is to submit a Support request for Security review (Azure portal → Help + Support → Subscription management → Subscription disabled). If the Security team confirms the decision.

    1. Click the below click for Help + Support -> Create a Support Request

To reactivate a disabled Azure subscription due to suspicious activity or a Terms of Use violation, you will need to submit a support ticket to the Azure security team for review. This process is necessary as the subscription has been disabled for security reasons, and only the security team can assist with reactivating it if it was done in error.

Here are the steps you should follow:

    1. Go to the Azure portal.
    2. Navigate to the support section and create a new support request.
    3. Provide details about your situation and mention that your subscription was disabled due to suspicious activity.
    4. Wait for the security team to review your case and respond.

Make sure to check your email for any communications from the security team regarding your request.
