Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you upgrading through Windows Update in Settings, or using the Installation Assistant?
    2. Is your device compatible with Windows 11 (TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot enabled)?
    3. Are you getting the error during download or during installation?

In the meantime, if you haven’t already:

    Run System File Check:

    • Press Start > type cmd
    • Right-click Command Prompt > Run as administrator
    • Type:

    sfc /scannow

    • Press Enter and wait for it to finish
    • After that, run this command in the same window:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    • Restart the PC after both commands complete. Then try the upgrade again.

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

    Regards,

0x80073712… that’s the comp-store split open again, seen it too many times.

I’d run a clean dism /restorehealth and skip WU — just fire up Win11 from the ISO, setup.exe pushes thru when the servicing stack.
